William S. Atkins, M.D.
Dr. Atkins is a native of
Asheville. He is certified by
the American Board of
Ophthalmology and is a member of
the American Academy of
Ophthalmology and American
Society of Cataract and
Refractive Surgeons. He is a
graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and
Bowman Gray School of Medicine,
Wake Forest University. He
completed his Internship at
University of Virginia,
Charlottesville, Virginia. He
was a Fellow in Ophthalmic
Research at NC Memorial Hospital
in Chapel Hill, NC and at
McPherson Hospital in Durham,
NC. He and his wife Sally have
two children.

Jack D. Lawrence, Jr., O.D.
Dr. Lawrence is a native of
Boone, NC. He received his
Doctor of Optometry degree from
Pennsylvania College of
Optometry in Philadelphia, PA.
He is a fellow of the American
Academy of Optometry. He and his
wife Debbie have four children
and eight grandchildren.
